The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reuf is bucking up trying to escape but Ares cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Reuf ducks straight into an uppercut from Ares and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Reuf manages to regain guard straight away.

It looks like Reuf Reuf has been cut.
Ares engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Ares wants to control from the top but Reuf keeps moving.

Ares has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Reuf tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ares controlling the position well here. Reuf rolled but Ares kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Reuf fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ares.
Reuf throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ares sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Ares stalks Reuf and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Reuf's face. Reuf staggers backwards, shaken.
Ares has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Reuf looks to land a combination but Ares avoids it well.

Ares lands a left and a right that sends Reuf crashing to the canvas! Ares dives into mount looking to finish!

Ares postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Reuf badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Ares around the waist but Ares pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Ares is the winner by TKO! Ares jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
