Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yeovil Tiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Meyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tiger comes to the cage accompanied by Delilah by Tom Jones. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Yeovil Tiger!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, John Meyer!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiger is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Meyer.
Tiger lands a head shot.

Tiger uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Meyer.
Tiger throws a hook but Meyer avoids it easily.
Tiger ducks under a wild hook from Meyer.
Tiger swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

It looks like Yeovil Tiger has been cut.
Meyer takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Tiger loads up on a big right hand but Meyer slips the punch.
Yeovil Tiger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tiger lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Meyer is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Meyer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Tiger manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Meyer shoots in looking for a takedown. Tiger tries to sprawl out of it but Meyer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tiger manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tiger. Meyer does a little dance to reset his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Meyer avoids the body shot from Tiger.

Tiger throws out a loose jab but Meyer uses good head movement to avoid it.

Tiger fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Meyer manages to avoid it.

Meyer closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Tiger did well to prevent Meyer getting side control.

Meyer is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tiger doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Meyer.

Meyer misses with a head shot. Tiger uses the momentum to regain guard.

Meyer drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tiger dives on top into guard.

Meyer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tiger moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Tiger uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Meyer has time to react.

Meyer bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Meyer is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tiger knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
