Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Crowley, pushing him back against the cage.
Jones displaying some good clinch control by pressing Crowley up against the cage.
Crowley scores with a nice hook to the head.

Jones breaks the clinch.
Crowley fails with a takedown attempt.
Jones throws the left hand but Crowley avoids the punch easily.
Crowley moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off.
Jones connects with a solid leg kick.
A head kick misses from Crowley.
Crowley tries to clinch
and Jones counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jones throws a nice looking combination but Crowley bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Crowley moves out of range easily.
Crowley takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Crowley ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jones moves away.

Jones moves into the clinch successfully.

Crowley has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jones uses from the top position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Crowley wants to stand but Jones is controlling his arm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Crowley tries to advance to mount but can't.
Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Crowley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Crowley tries to stand but Jones is controlling his head.
Crowley works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.
Crowley trying to control the position but Jones is working away.
Crowley in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Crowley throws an elbow but Jones slips to the side and avoids it well.

A close round but Simon Jones will probably get the nod.

Crowley misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Simon Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crowley tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jones sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Crowley somewhat.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jones pushes Crowley up against the cage in a clinch.
Crowley is trying to stall.
Jones lands an elbow just above Crowley 's eye.
Jones lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
A bit of stalling here from Jones.
Crowley is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Jones is defending well for now.
Jones stops a takedown attempt from Crowley.
Crowley fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Jones is pressed up against the cage. Crowley has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jones down to the mat. Jones avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Crowley takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
That kick from Jones tenderised Crowley's leg. Crowley is trying to keep his angry face on.

Crowley walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

A nice inside leg kick there by Jones. That's going to slow Crowley down.
Crowley tries to move into range but Jones moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

and Jones counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Jones works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Jones stalks Crowley and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Crowley's face. Crowley staggers backwards, shaken.
Crowley wants to clinch
and Jones connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Crowley crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jones - the referee stops the clock and Crowley gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jones. Crowley manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Crowley avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Jones closes the distance and pushes Crowley back into the cage.

Simon Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Crowley shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Crowley takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

and Crowley counters with a series of strikes. Jones will be more careful next time no doubt.
Jones lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jones.

Jones throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Crowley on the side of the head.

Jones slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Simon Jones is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Crowley is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

A looping hook to the body misses from Crowley. Jones does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lorenzo Crowley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Simon Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Jones winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
