Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pai Mei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Pan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pai Mei has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pai Mei!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Pan!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pan gets caught flat footed, as Mei shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Mei stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mei passes into half guard.
Pan is not content to let Mei control the position.
Mei slows the pace down in half guard.
Pan wants to get back to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pan is trying to stand back up but Mei is controlling him

Mei looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Mei wants to stand but Pan has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Mei wants to pass to mount but Pan is defending the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mei is trying to control the action in half guard but Pan is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Mei seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Pan wants to get back to his feet.
Mei trying to pass the guard but Pan defending well.
Pan is trying to stand up here but Mei is controlling him well.
Mei moves nicely into side control.
Mei wants to take a breather but Pan manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Mei.
Mei might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Mei not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Mei wants to control from the top but Pan keeps moving.
Mei stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mei stops Pan from standing up.
Mei is stalling in the full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Pai Mei just wasn't active enough.
Pan jabs Mei right on the nose. Mei blinks but takes it well.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Pan throws a wild body kick that Mei sees coming a mile off.

Mei shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pan is trying to defend but Mei finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Mei is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pai Mei dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Mei tries to close the distance and clinch but Pan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mei looks for a takedown but Pan sprawls well.
Mei motions for Pan to come forward. Mei throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Mei shoots in and drives through. Pan sprawls well.
Pan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mei shoots in but Pan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pai Mei. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pan moves into range and clinches up with Mei.

Pan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pai Mei is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Mei shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pan defends it nicely.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mei is defended easily by Pan.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Pan punishes Mei's body with a nice straight punch.
Mei fails with a takedown attempt.
Mei closes the distance looking to clinch
and Pan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mei throws a hook but Pan blocks it.
Pan lands a right hook to the body.
Pan scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Mei has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Pan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Pan uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Mei has time to react.
Pan works over Mei's head and body with a nice combination.
Pan avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Pan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mei. That did some damage!
Pan lands with a slapping head kick.
Pan is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Mei on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Pan. Pan obviously looking to wear him down.
Mei shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pan sprawls well. Pan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mei gets slowly back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pan lands a nice shot that snaps Mei's head back.
Pan lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Pai Mei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pan throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Pan lands with a good body shot.

Pan scores with a head kick. Mei tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
A chopping leg kick lands by Pan.

Crunch! Pan slams his shin into Mei's torso.

Mei takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Pan lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Peter Pan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Mei shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pan as he avoids it easily.
Mei looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mei is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Pan drives through and clinches with Mei against the ropes.
A nice left hand lands by Pan.
Pan works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Pan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Peter Pan seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Pan clobbers Mei with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Mei shoots in but Pan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mei shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pan pinned against the cage. Pan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pan smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Pan connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Pan moves into the clinch.
Pan will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Mei up against the ropes.

Pan pushes Mei back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.

Mei on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Pan lands an overhand right.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mei with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pan to score with a decent uppercut.
Peter Pan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mei's head backwards.
Mei takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Pan turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Pan, right into the meat.
Pan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Pan fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Pan lands a head kick. Mei smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Pan connects with a leg kick. Mei looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Pan stalks Mei and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mei's face. Mei staggers backwards, shaken.

Mei drops his hands momentarily and Pan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Mei takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Pan is working the combinations to good effect here.

Mei fails with the takedown.
Pan throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Mei's head.
Mei is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Pan lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Pan moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Pan throws a one two combo.
Pan connects with a leg kick. Mei looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Pan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mei looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Mei looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Pan thuds a left hand into Mei's body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Crunch! Pan slams his shin into Mei's torso.
Pan's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Pan duly obliges.
A good leg kick by Pan.

And that's the end of the fight!
Peter Pan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Pan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
