Richards comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cry me a river - Michael buble kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Lennox takes one on the chin but seems OK.
The fighters circling - Lennox throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Nice defenses there by Richards.
Some wild striking there from Lennox.
Richards attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Lennox has a takedown stuffed.
Richards showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lennox.
Lennox is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Lennox throws a shot from downtown. Richards moves away and avoids it.
Larry Lennox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Richards walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Lennox shoots in but Richards avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lennox closes the distance and clinches up with Richards, looking for a takedown. Lennox pushes Richards against the cage but Richards circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Larry Lennox. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lennox, as that shot connected.

and Richards counters with a head kick.
Richards paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Richards swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Richards tries a head kick but it misses.
Lennox throws a jab when Richards was well out of range.
Lennox shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Richards pinned against the cage. Richards gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Richards throws a head kick that Lennox semi-blocks.

Lennox is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Richards tries a head kick but it misses.
Lennox throws a nice looking combination but Richards bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lennox throws a hook but Richards blocks it.
Lennox changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Richards tries to avoid it but Lennox manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Richards to the ground. Richards escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lennox tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Lennox lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Richards throws a nice outside leg kick.
Richards slips under a jab.
Richards walks into a straight right hand from Lennox.
Shane Richards is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Richards will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Richards comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Lennox bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Richards is looking to get back to his feet here but Lennox is keeping cool and he's managed to take Richards's back.
Richards wants to control his opponent's hands but Lennox gets his hands free.
I really don't envy Richards right now.
Richards is trying to escape under a series of strikes and manages to escape from Lennox 's hooks.

Richards bucks Lennox off and manages to get back to his feet!
Richards tries a head kick but it misses.
No luck for Lennox with that takedown attempt.
Lennox bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Richards moves out of range as Lennox strikes.
Richards lands a head kick!
Lennox misses with a jab to the body
and Richards counters with a good low kick that Lennox was not able to check.

Richards throws a nice inside leg kick.
Lennox is breathing heavily.
Lennox walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Richards sizes up Lennox with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Oh Lennox is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Richards throws a quick head kick that knocks Lennox silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Richards is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
