Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mason Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vitor Gracie told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mason Storm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vitor Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Storm takes the fight into the clinch.
Gracie tries for a takedown. No joy.
Storm breaks from the clinch.
Storm throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Storm bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Storm tries to clinch but Gracie moves out of range.
Gracie swings for the body but Storm moves out of range.
Gracie throws a body punch but Storm moves out of range.
A jab from Storm misses.
Gracie looks for a takedown but Storm sprawls well.
Storm misses with a combination
letting Gracie counter with a right hand.
Storm cracks a nice hook into Gracie's ribs.
Gracie looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Gracie trying to control the position from guard on top but Storm is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gracie has gone for a leg lock! Storm slips out almost immediately though and dives into Gracie's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie has his foot on Storm's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Storm works his way back into a safe position though.
Storm has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Gracie to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Storm is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Gracie pulls down on the head and he's put Storm to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Vitor Gracie!
