Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marshall Arts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mahut Uno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arts's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Face the Pain. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Uno shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Uno seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Arts does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Arts is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Arts is working hard here to advance position.
Uno wants to control but Arts is keeping him busy.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Uno tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Uno swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Arts is now in Uno's guard. A big mistake from Uno there, giving up the dominant position!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mahut Uno hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Arts staying out of range there.
Arts fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Uno darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Uno tries to free his leg and advance position but Arts is retaining full guard.
Arts looking to hit a scissor sweep but Uno is one step ahead there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Uno slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mahut Uno.
Uno wants to clinch up but Arts keeps it at a distance.

Arts moves into the clinch.
Arts is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Uno is defending well for now.
Uno dodges an elbow strike from Arts.
Arts gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Uno.

Arts lands a nice elbow.
Uno blocks an elbow strike.
Arts creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Uno has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Arts avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Marshall Arts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mahut Uno.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Arts just misses with a elbow thrown towards Uno's brow.
Arts lands an elbow that stopped Uno in his tracks for a moment.
