And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Roman Ray!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Munoz.
Hector Munoz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ray gets a takedown into half guard.
Ray is thwarting Munoz's attempts to control the position.
Munoz tries to roll over but Ray keeps him under control.
The fighters are battling for position here. Munoz manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Ray trying to control the position from guard on top but Munoz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Ray decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Munoz, up you get!

Ray lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Munoz on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Munoz is breathing heavily.

Ray decides to stand and escape the position.
No joy there for Munoz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ray lands a jab-cross combination.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ray rushes Munoz and presses him up against the cage.
Ray pushes Munoz back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Ray's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Munoz gets caught flat footed, as Ray shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Ray stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Hector Munoz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Munoz enables Ray to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Munoz manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Munoz not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Ray drops back looking for a leg! Munoz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Munoz manages to kick Ray off! Ray jumps back into Munoz's guard.
Ray throws a big right hand that misses.

Ray is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Munoz keeping moving, preventing Ray from controlling successfully.

Roman Ray has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Ray throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Ray shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Ray thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Ray lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Ray decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ray scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Ray has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Munoz takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roman Ray dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Hector Munoz's cut.

Ray throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Munoz was covering up waiting for the punch and Ray finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Ray gets to his feet - Munoz follows without any prompting.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Ray closes the distance and clinches up with Munoz, looking for a takedown. Ray pushes Munoz against the cage but Munoz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Munoz misses with a double jab
and Ray counters with a series of strikes. Munoz will be more careful next time no doubt.

Ray prevents Munoz from breaking the clinch.

Ray's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Munoz throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Ray moves into the clinch.
Ray working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Ray has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Munoz avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Hector Munoz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roman Ray.

Ray working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Munoz turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Ray off and cradles Munoz's limp body as Ray celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Roman Ray!
