The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matthysse fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Euringer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Euringer gets underhooks to prevent Matthysse's takedown attempt.
Matthysse has Euringer pressed against the cage, preventing Euringer from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Euringer wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Euringer has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Matthysse tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Euringer smiles and moves away.

Euringer throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Matthysse on the side of the head.

Euringer rushes Matthysse with punches - Matthysse moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Matthysse goes down! Euringer follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
