Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karim Wade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carnie Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevenson fails with the takedown.

Wade closes the distance and pushes Stevenson back into the cage.

Stevenson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Wade can't fight it off and eventually Stevenson manages to take the fight to the floor. Wade looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Stevenson postures up in Wade's guard and throws a big left but Wade blocks it.
Wade pulls Stevenson in close to prevent any damage.
Stevenson tries to free his leg and advance position but Wade is retaining full guard.
Stevenson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Wade kicks Stevenson off and gets to his feet.
Wade has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Stevenson.
Wade changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Stevenson is trying to drag Wade to the mat but Wade just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Wade manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Wade presses Stevenson against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Stevenson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wade tries to avoid it but Stevenson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wade to the ground. Wade escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stevenson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Wade gets the underhooks and prevents it.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Wade here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Stevenson tries to clinch up but Wade pushes him back against the cage and lands another moster strike that crumples Stevenson to the mat! Stevenson covers up and Wade unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
