The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Zulu. Those never looked like landing.
Oxenfrei swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Zulu.
Oxenfrei scores with a three punch combo!

It looks like Motumba Zulu has been cut.
Oxenfrei misses with a hook. Zulu ducked under it nicely.
Oxenfrei throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Zulu to counter with a crisp jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oxenfrei misses with a body shot
and Zulu counters with a three punch combo that has Oxenfrei backing up. Oxenfrei nods at Zulu to acknowledge the strikes.

Oxenfrei scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Zulu doesn't seem bothered though.
Zulu lands with an uppercut that bounces Oxenfrei off the cage and back into rage.

Oxenfrei throws a lazy right hand but Zulu sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Zulu counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Oxenfrei!

Zulu seems to be looking for submissions.
Oxenfrei on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Oxenfrei tries to get out of the position.

Zulu is looking for a kimura here.

Zulu is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Oxenfrei sees it coming and defends easily.

Oxenfrei trying to hold on to Zulu's head to control him but Zulu postures up.
Zulu frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zulu is working for a guillotine from mount but Oxenfrei frees his head quite easily.
Oxenfrei is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Zulu looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zulu is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Oxenfrei is forced to tap! Great finish!
