Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaun Conway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duran's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, 2Pac - troublesom 96. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conway shoots in for a takedown but Duran shows good takedown defense.
Duran misses with the combination.
Conway dodges the punch combination from Duran.
A right-left combo lands from Duran.
Duran lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Duran avoids the head kick by Conway.
Duran circles away from the clinch attempt.
Duran lands a jab to the nose.
Conway cracks Duran with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Duran clinches up against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Duran.

It looks like Shaun Conway has been cut.
Duran looking for a takedown.

Duran breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Conway shoots in and drives through. Duran sprawls well.
A chopping leg kick lands by Conway.
Duran throws a series of punches but Conway avoids them all with ease.
The fight stays on the outside here - Conway looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Duran stalks Conway and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Conway's face. Conway staggers backwards, shaken.

Conway gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Conway is fighting off a takedown attempt but Duran is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Conway to the mat. Conway regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Conway looks gassed!

Duran drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Duran jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Duran drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Conway dives on top into guard.
Conway throws a strike but Duran rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Duran thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Conway is trying to control the position but Duran postures up.

Duran passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Duran has hold of Conway's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Conway tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Duran cranks the arm and Conway screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Conway, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
