Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kent Hytten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barbara Boxer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hytten comes to the cage accompanied by Wait and Bleed. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barbara Boxer!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hytten ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Boxer moves away.
Hytten throws a looping overhand right but Boxer ducks down to avoid it.
A combination from Hytten does no damage.
Boxer throws a hook but Hytten blocks it.
Hytten misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Boxer throws an off balance right hand
and Hytten counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Boxer thinking.
Boxer throws a lazy uppercut
and Boxer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Boxer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hytten thumps Boxer with a low kick.

and Hytten connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Hytten wants to clinch up but Boxer keeps it at a distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Boxer blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Hytten is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Boxer is defending well for now.
Hytten is looking to control Boxer's arms but Boxer gets an underhook and turns him. Now Hytten has his back to the cage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Boxer bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hytten looking for a sweep but Boxer has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Boxer takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Boxer's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kent Hytten.
