Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiburcio Valeriano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kid changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Valeriano tries to avoid it but Kid manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Valeriano to the ground. Valeriano escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Valeriano tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kid was well out of range. Poor timing from Valeriano.
Tiburcio Valeriano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Valeriano shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kid manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Kid goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Valeriano turns into him and now he's in Kid's guard.

Kid working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Valeriano doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Valeriano manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Kid is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kid is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Valeriano is aware though and is defending well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kid is trying to maintain a safe position but Valeriano gets an underhook and turns Kid into the cage.

Kid turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Kid manages to end up in side control.

Kid throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Valeriano has his hands clasped together but Kid breaks the hold and Valeriano is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Kid!
