The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
IMHOTEP throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Smith swings and misses with a hook to the body.
IMHOTEP avoids a punch combination nicely.
Smith keeps the fight on the outside.
IMHOTEP shoots in and drives through. Smith sprawls well.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

IMHOTEP's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
IMHOTEP fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Smith avoids it really well and circles away.

Smith is really struggling to find his range with his punches. IMHOTEP's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
