Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Remy Bonjasky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kami Kaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Remy Bonjasky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kami Kaze!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonjasky takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Kaze avoids the head kick by Bonjasky.
Kaze blocks a head kick by Bonjasky.
Kaze moves into range and connects with a jab.
Bonjasky walks into a stiff left hand from Kaze.
A head kick misses from Bonjasky.
Bonjasky throws a head kick that misses.
Kaze tests Bonjasky's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kaze cracks Bonjasky with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
No joy there for Kaze, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bonjasky misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A head kick misses from Bonjasky.
Kaze connects with a crisp jab.
Bonjasky throws a hook but Kaze avoids it easily.
A decent looking cross lands there for Kaze.
Kaze is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Bonjasky throws a big shot that misses.
Bonjasky tries to clinch but Kaze moves out of range.
Bonjasky stuffs the takedown attempt from Kaze. Kaze gets slowly back to his feet.
Bonjasky throws a head kick that misses.
Kaze has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Kaze lands a really nice looking cross but Bonjasky seems unphased.
Kaze connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bonjasky. Bonjasky circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kaze getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Remy Bonjasky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick by Bonjasky - that's a beauty! Kaze is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Bonjasky can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Remy Bonjasky!
