Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tapmaster Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uahankh Fyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fyn has chosen as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tapmaster Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Uahankh Fyn!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Fyn looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Gracie slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Fyn content to stall in guard here.

Gracie is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Gracie working a defensive guard here.
Fyn trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.
Fyn postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Fyn trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Fyn wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving.
Fyn looking to pass the guard.
Fyn stopping the sweep attempt from Gracie.
Fyn trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Gracie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fyn is aware though and is defending well.
Fyn not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Uahankh Fyn hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fyn napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Fyn regains half guard.
Fyn trying to control here.
Fyn gets full guard.

Fyn is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gracie is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Gracie wants to pass the guard but Fyn is keeping the position.
Gracie trying to control but Fyn is working from the bottom.

Gracie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fyn has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gracie has managed to get both his arms back between Fyn's legs - danger averted.

Fyn keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully.
Gracie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fyn is keeping the position for now.
Gracie stands and throws Fyn's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fyn is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Fyn is trying to get back to half guard.
Gracie tries to move into full mount but can't pass Fyn's legs.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Gracie thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Fyn prevents Gracie from moving into mount.

Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fyn has escaped the position, nice work there.
Fyn is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Gracie's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Fyn is pressing down on Gracie's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Fyn can't keep his opponent in guard - Gracie advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Fyn tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Uahankh Fyn will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Gracie drops back, looking for a kneebar! Fyn looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Fyn looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Fyn!
Gracie tries to bench press Fyn off him but Fyn keeps the position.
Fyn working the ground and pound.
Fyn moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Gracie is trying to improve his position.
Gracie takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Gracie is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Fyn's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Fyn seems to be looking for submissions.
Fyn trying to mount his opponent but Gracie defends it.
Fyn is keen to just control but Gracie is a slippery customer.

Fyn is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gracie is just riding it out for now. Fyn eventually gives up the hold.
Gracie tries to get to full guard but Fyn has control of the leg.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gracie is trying to maintain the position but Fyn is very close to passing his half guard.
Gracie tries to roll over but Fyn keeps him under control.

Gracie is defending against the submission attempts here by Fyn.
Fyn works his way into side control.

Gracie is looking to regain half guard here but Fyn keeps moving and retains side control.
Fyn controlling the position from side mount.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Fyn trying to control the position but Gracie is working away.
Gracie can't do much from the bottom here.

Fyn thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Fyn is looking to take a break and control but Gracie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Fyn is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gracie knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Uahankh Fyn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Fyn counters with a shoot takedown. Gracie fights it but they end up in guard.

Gracie is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Gracie looking for a sweep. Not yet Gracie, not yet.
Gracie keeping moving, preventing Fyn from controlling successfully.
Fyn is in close to Gracie's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Gracie controls Fyn momentarily but Fyn frees himself.
Gracie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fyn's guard.

Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Fyn is pulling down on Gracie's head. It's preventing any offense from Gracie, at least for the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Gracie postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fyn is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gracie, into his guard.
Fyn slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Gracie trying to keep a closed guard but Fyn is proving a slippery customer.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fyn defends it easily.
Fyn trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Gracie keeping moving, preventing Fyn from controlling successfully.
Fyn throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gracie works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Gracie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fyn is aware though and is defending well.

Fyn wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving.
Gracie is adopting a defensive guard.
Fyn postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Uahankh Fyn is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Gracie wants to sweep but no luck.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Uahankh Fyn was stalling too much, according to the referee.

and Fyn counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gracie thinking.
Fyn scores with a hook to the body. Gracie takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Gracie has his takedown stuffed

and Fyn counters with a takedown into side control.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tapmaster Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gracie is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Uahankh Fyn comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Fyn has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
