The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beltran throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Conan Beltran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beltran works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like David Abbott has been cut.
Abbott getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Abbott keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Beltran.
Beltran throws a jab but it's blocked by Abbott.
Abbott avoids the body shot from Beltran.
Abbott scores with a kick to the body.
Abbott slips a jab from Beltran.
Abbott bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Beltran throws the left hand but Abbott avoids the punch easily.
Beltran is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Abbott.
Beltran misses with a two punch combination.
Abbott keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Beltran takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Beltran looks gassed!
A looping hook to the body misses from Beltran. Abbott does a little dance to reset his feet.
Beltran throws a right hand that Abbott ducks under and follows up with a left that Abbott also avoids with ease.
Abbott bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Beltran's head.

Abbott lands a left and a right that send Beltran crashing to the mat, dazed. Abbott thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Abbott drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Beltran right on the button. Beltran goes down! Abbott follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Abbott gets the win via TKO!
