Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Ford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buck Ginks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ford comes to the cage accompanied by Marijanne. Ryan Ford has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Ford!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Buck Ginks!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ford tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ginks manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ford moves in looking to clinch but Ginks pushes him off.
Ginks tries to clinch up.
Ginks misses with the combination.
No luck for Ford with that takedown attempt.
Ford fails to land the takedown.
Ford shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ginks defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Ford. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Ginks counters with a crisp one two that drops Ford! Ginks thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Ford to his feet! Ford is in big trouble!

Ford is rocked!
Ford is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ginks moves into range and clinches up with Ford.

Ginks breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ginks misses with a few strikes there.
Ginks throws a right hand that Ford ducks under and follows up with a left that Ford also avoids with ease.
No joy there for Ginks, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Ginks closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Ginks wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ford has him pressed against the cage.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Ford. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Ginks breaks the clinch.

A frustrated look appears on Ginks's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Ford misses with a punch to the body.
Ford has Ginks pressed against the cage, preventing Ginks from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Ginks breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ginks cracks Ford with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A combination from Ginks does no damage.
Ginks slaps away a takedown attempt from Ford, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ginks connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Ford tumbling to the canvas! Ginks pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Ford was done - good stoppage!
