Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between JC Sprout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rogers gets the takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sprout tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rogers wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Sprout lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Sprout cracks Rogers with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Rogers looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Sprout finish him?
Rogers is still on wobbly legs! Can Sprout finish him?
Sprout stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
BOOM! Sprout lands a beautiful left hook that drops Rogers. Rogers tries to recover but Sprout is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Rogers lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
