The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stenmark.
Gracie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stenmark is fending him off so far but Gracie persists. Nope, Stenmark circles away and we're back to standing.
Stenmark takes a swing at Gracie's ribcage but misses.
Khon Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie dives in and grabs Stenmark's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stenmark pushes down on Gracie's head and hops out.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stenmark sprawls well. Stenmark wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.
