Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julius Lawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelly McFillin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Julius Lawson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kelly McFillin! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lawson leaves McFillin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Lawson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. McFillin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lawson.
Lawson stuffs the takedown. Lawson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McFillin manages to avoid it. McFillin misses with a takedown attempt - Lawson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Julius Lawson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kelly McFillin. Lawson misses with an uppercut. Lawson catches McFillin with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Lawson swings for the body but McFillin moves out of range.

Lawson takes a swing at McFillin's ribcage but misses. McFillin shoots in for a takedown but Lawson shows good takedown defense. Lawson cracks a nice hook into McFillin's ribs. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lawson swings and misses with a hook to the body.

McFillin scores with a takedown into Lawson's guard. McFillin looks gassed! McFillin wants to control from the top but Lawson keeps moving. McFillin prevents Lawson from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lawson keeping full guard, as McFillin tries to pass. McFillin trying to control but Lawson is working from the bottom. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Lawson being controlled here, momentarily. McFillin drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lawson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lawson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lawson!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. McFillin is looking for a sweep. Lawson wants to control but McFillin is keeping him busy. McFillin sneaks back into half guard. McFillin is looking to improve his position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lawson preventing the sweep. Lawson wants to control from the top but McFillin keeps moving. McFillin is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Lawson is sitting in close to McFillin's body. McFillin has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Lawson is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Lawson is tapping! That was a very nice submission by McFillin.
