And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Rav Kapur!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cena tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kapur swivels and escapes.

Cena closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kapur quickly recovers to half guard.
Kapur wants to get back to his feet.
Kapur blocking the ground and pound attempt from Cena.
Kapur looks like he's trying to stand up.
Kapur is not content to let Cena control the position.
Cena thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kapur's head.
Cena drops an elbow to the side of Kapur's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cena throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Cena wants to control but Kapur is keeping him busy.
Cena sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kapur defending well though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kapur is staying active underneath Cena, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Cena winds up and cracks Kapur with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Cena seems to be looking for submissions.
Kapur is holding on to half guard well.
Cena throwing shots but Kapur is blocking nicely.
Kapur avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Cena.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Cena is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Cena wants to take a breather but Kapur is having none of it.
Cena misses with a head shot. Kapur uses the momentum to regain guard.
Cena thows a big elbow that misses.
Cena wants to control from the top but Kapur keeps moving.
Kapur wants to sweep but no luck.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Cena dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Cena keeps the fight on the outside.
Cena digs a good hook to Kapur's body.

Cena gets a takedown into half guard.
Cena is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kapur can do anything to dispel that myth.
Cena looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like Rav Kapur has been cut.
