Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between joe blow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glenn Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Glenn Edwards has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with joe blow's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards defending well as blow loads up on a big left hand.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Edwards might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control blow kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

blow keeps the fight on the outside.
Edwards shoots in for a takedown but blow shows good takedown defense.
blow wants to clinch but Edwards slips to the side

and Edwards holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
blow tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Edwards smiles and moves away.
joe blow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
blow misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Horrible takedown by Edwards or perhaps it was just good defense by blow which made him look bad.
The fight stays on the outside here - Edwards looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Edwards fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with blow, pushing him back against the cage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Edwards had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. blow defends it easily.
Edwards is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Edwards is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! blow rolls with it to try and escape but Edwards cranks on the arm and blow is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
