Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eugeny Lapik!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Ivan Kurochkin and Igor Prikhodko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tao throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lapik misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Lapik sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Tao to the ground! Lapik dives into full mount looking to finish!

Tao is rocked!

It looks like White Tiger Tao has been cut.
Tao wants to get back to his feet.
Oh Tao is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tao seems to have got his legs back now.
Lapik tries to control but Tao wriggling away.
Tao's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lapik stands up from mount. Strange move.
Tao avoids the head kick by Lapik.
Tao throws a right hand that Lapik ducks under and follows up with a left that Lapik also avoids with ease.
An inside leg kick lands from Lapik.

Lapik connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Tao to the floor! Lapik dives in looking for the finish!
Lapik tries to stand and escape but Tao is controlling the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tao is trying to escape back to his feet but Lapik uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Tao is breathing heavily.

Lapik decides to stand up, so the ref orders Tao to his feet.
Tao fails to land with a series of punches.
Lapik throws a solid leg kick but Tao takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Lapik.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lapik throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Tao's head.
Tao lands a jab to the nose.
Lapik throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jab by Tao.
Lapik swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Tao.
Tao misses with a double jab.
Lapik avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tao blocks a low kick nicely.
A left and a right from Tao both land. Nice combination.
The fighters circle, before Lapik throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Tao's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Lapik lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
