The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boston darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Gracie looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Gracie is defending against the submission attempts here by Boston.
Boston has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Boston is landing with some decent strikes but Gracie is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Gracie is rocked!

Boston with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Boston is working for a guillotine from mount but Gracie frees his head quite easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boston is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Gracie is surviving well by controlling Boston's body position as best he can.

Boston has control of Gracie's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Gracie regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Boston looking to secure an arm triangle but Gracie defends it well.

Boston goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Gracie turns into him and now he's in Boston's guard.

Boston had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Gracie is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Boston Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Gracie's back instead.

Boston is cranking Gracie's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Gracie! He's tightened the choke and Gracie is tapping out!
