Grebovski comes to the cage accompanied by Ganglians - Valient Brave. Romanov has chosen Kalinka as his entrance music. Shane Grebovski could well score a knockout today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grebovski is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Romanov.

That was a close round but I would say that Shane Grebovski will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Grebovski avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Romanov walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Romanov connects with a body shot.
Grebovski paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Grebovski is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Romanov is trying to force a seperation but Grebovski has the dominant position.
Romanov wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Grebovski has him pressed against the cage.
Grebovski lands a left hand that snaps the head of Romanov backwards.
Grebovski is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Romanov gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Romanov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Grebovski is fending him off so far but Romanov persists. Nope, Grebovski circles away and we're back to standing.

This has been an exciting period of action!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Grebovski lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Romanov down.
