Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens wants to clinch up but McGully keeps it at a distance.
McGully lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Stevens at a distance.
McGully works over Stevens's head and body with a nice combination.
Stevens shoots in but McGully avoids the takedown attempt easily.
McGully closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McGully lands in his opponent's guard.
McGully is looking to work some ground and pound but Stevens has wrist control.
McGully really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Stevens is staying active underneath McGully, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

McGully tries to pass to full mount but Stevens defends it.
McGully wants to take a breather but Stevens is having none of it.

McGully cracks Stevens with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

BOOM! McGully connects with a massive shot to the dome!
McGully working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Stevens turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips McGully off and cradles Stevens's limp body as McGully celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Jason McGully!
