Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Instant Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ari Vanhala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vanhala has chosen Bad Religion - Generator as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Instant Fighter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ari Vanhala!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fighter misses with a series of wild punches.
Vanhala showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Fighter.
Fighter loads up on a big right hand but Vanhala slips the punch.
Fighter throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Vanhala on the side of the head.
Fighter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vanhala moves away.
Vanhala changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fighter tries to avoid it but Vanhala manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fighter to the ground. Fighter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fighter looks to score with a jab to the body but Vanhala is just out of range.
Vanhala throws a hook but Fighter avoids it easily.
Vanhala takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Vanhala shoots in looking for a takedown. Fighter tries to sprawl out of it but Vanhala keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fighter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Well Vanhala has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
