Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Harry Villegas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Logan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Villegas comes to the ring accompanied by War is my destiny. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Logan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Logan wanted to stand there but Villegas had control of the position.
Villegas is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Villegas could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Villegas working for a triangle but Logan defends it easily.
Logan slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Villegas looking for a guillotine here but Logan defends easily.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Villegas keeping full guard, as Logan tries to pass.
Villegas has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Logan has passed into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Villegas looks to move to half guard but instead Logan has passed into mount! Damn!
Logan prevents Villegas from getting the reversal.
Logan is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Villegas manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Logan is looking to take a break and control but Villegas is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Logan seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Logan wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Villegas uses the opportunity to regain full guard.

Villegas is looking to sinch up a triangle. Logan throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Villegas's body to avoid the submission. Villegas has instead reached around Logan's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Villegas arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
