The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vera looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lirios is fending him off so far but Vera persists. Nope, Lirios circles away and we're back to standing.
Lirios closes the distance and clinches.
Vera has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lirios avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Lirios breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A right-left combo lands from Lirios.
It looks like Efrain Vera has been cut.
Lirios lands a nice looking kick to the body. Vera takes a step back to recover.
Lirios stalks Vera and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Vera's face. Vera staggers backwards, shaken.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vera dives in and grabs Lirios's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lirios pushes down on Vera's head and hops out.
Dino Lirios has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Efrain Vera.
Lirios closes the distance and clinches.
Lirios breaks the clinch.
Lirios cracks Vera with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Lirios lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Vera at a distance.
Lirios ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Vera looks gassed!
Lirios lands a two punch combo.
Lirios fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Vera on the side of the head.
Lirios lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Lirios lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Lirios lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Lirios gets a clinch.
Lirios's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lirios clinches up against the cage.
Lirios looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Lirios tries to circle away but Vera has him pinned against the cage.
Lirios breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Lirios rushes Vera and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Lirios is working the combinations to good effect here.
Lirios moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Lirios lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Lirios throws a series of strikes that have Vera backpedaling.
Vera is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lirios.
Lirios throws a shot to the body.
Lirios stuns Vera with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Lirios bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Vera's head.
A right-left combo lands from Lirios.
Vera walks into a straight right hand from Lirios.
Lirios cracks Vera with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Lirios bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vera dives in and grabs Lirios's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lirios pushes down on Vera's head and hops out.
Lirios lands with a right hand.
Lirios's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Lirios duly obliges.
Vera is rocked!
Lirios cracks Vera with a hook to the temple - Vera is on wobbly legs here! Lirios swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Vera falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Lirios wins by TKO!
