Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Noke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yasegawa Masaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Kyle Noke has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noke throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Masaki stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Noke digs a good body shot into Masaki's ribs.
Noke misses with a head kick.
Masaki shoots in for a double leg but Noke sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Noke tries to clinch up but Masaki circles away and keeps his distance.

Noke feints and then cracks Masaki's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Masaki down.

Noke throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Masaki.

and Masaki counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Noke wants to stand but Masaki is controlling the position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Masaki wants to control from the top but Noke keeps moving.
Noke is looking to stand up but Masaki isn't so interested in that idea.

Noke looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Masaki's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Yasegawa Masaki has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Horrible takedown by Masaki or perhaps it was just good defense by Noke which made him look bad.

Masaki throws a solid leg kick but Noke takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Masaki.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Noke closes the distance and pushes Masaki back into the cage.
Noke is pressed up against the cage. Masaki has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Noke down to the mat. Noke avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Some bone on bone action there as Masaki checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Masaki dives in and grabs Noke's left leg, looking for a takedown. Noke pushes down on Masaki's head and hops out.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Noke lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Masaki has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Masaki and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Noke throws the kick towards the body but Masaki avoids it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kyle Noke will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Noke scores with the left hand. Masaki knows he should have avoided that one.
Masaki fails with a takedown attempt.
Masaki shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Noke as he jumps to the side.
Noke finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Noke misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Noke throws a series of punches but Masaki avoids them all with ease.
Noke rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Masaki moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Masaki fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Noke sprawls well initially but Masaki persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Masaki is keen to just control but Noke is a slippery customer.

Noke is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Masaki is trying to control the action in half guard but Noke is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Noke is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Masaki's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Masaki's back!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Masaki trying to control the action but Noke just sinks the hooks in.
Masaki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Noke. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Noke just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Noke has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Masaki has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Noke, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
