Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alistair Overeem!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Russell Jones!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overeem takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Jones misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jones lands with a right hand.
Overeem changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Overeem manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Overeem fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jones.
Overeem is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jones.
Overeem checks a low kick from Jones.
Jones moves into range and connects with a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jones works Overeem's body with a nice hook.
Overeem throws a head kick that misses
and Jones connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Overeem is breathing heavily.
Overeem doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Overeem takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A jab from Jones finds it's way through Overeem's defenses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones throws a lazy head kick

and Overeem counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Jones manages to get to full guard.
Overeem won't allow Jones to sweep him here.
Jones bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Overeem's guard.

Jones decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Overeem, up you get!
Jones throws a chopping leg kick but Overeem manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Overeem avoids the head kick by Jones.
Jones swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jones lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Overeem crumples to the floor! Jones milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
