The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monroe throws a series of punches but Walker moves out of range.
Monroe throws a nice looking combination but Walker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Monroe is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Walker.
Walker avoids a punch combination nicely.
A combination from Monroe does no damage.
Walker takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Monroe fails to land with a series of punches.
Monroe paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Walker throws a hook but Monroe blocks it.
Monroe throws a right hand that Walker ducks under and follows up with a left that Walker also avoids with ease.
Walker cracks Monroe with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Monroe rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Walker moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A combination from Monroe does no damage.
Walker swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Walker moves out of range of the body kick.
Monroe attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Monroe throws a combination that misses
and Walker counters with a big head kick but Monroe shrugs it off.
Monroe throws a looping overhand right but Walker ducks down to avoid it.

and Walker counters with a leg kick.
Walker throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Monroe on the side of the head.
Monroe needs to keep his hands up - Walker had a free shot at his head there.
Monroe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Monroe tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Walker was well out of range. Poor timing from Monroe.

and Walker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A head kick from Walker lands but Monroe takes it in his stride.
