Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Saunders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Twista - Kamikaze kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ben Saunders!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pat Brown!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Saunders is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Brown is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Saunders is breathing heavily.

Saunders working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Brown. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Brown.

Brown is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Brown gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Brown gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Brown apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Brown bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Brown feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Brown throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Saunders on the side of the head.

Brown throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Saunders was covering up waiting for the punch and Brown finishes the takedown easily into guard.
