Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Holtz was covering up waiting for the punch and Allen finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Allen gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Allen shoots in but Holtz avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Holtz changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Holtz has managed to clinch.
Holtz prevents the takedown attempt.
Holtz ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Holtz no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Holtz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Allen is one step ahead there.
Allen sitting in guard here, content to control.
Allen wants to get up but he can't break Holtz's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Allen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Holtz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Allen has managed to get both his arms back between Holtz's legs - danger averted.

Holtz not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Holtz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Allen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Holtz is tightening it up a little... Allen has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Allen reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Allen taps out! nice BJJ there by Holtz!
