Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Beebus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seamus John James Given (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beebus comes to the cage accompanied by I'm about to WHOOP yo ACE!. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Beebus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Seamus John James Given!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Given stuffs the takedown attempt from Beebus. Beebus gets slowly back to his feet.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Beebus.
Beebus landing strikes.
Beebus looking to control but instead Given has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Beebus sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Given defending well though.
Given on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Beebus throwing shots but Given is blocking nicely.
The fighters are battling for position here. Given manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Beebus advances to half guard.
Beebus wants to pass to mount but Given is defending the position.

Beebus seems to be looking for submissions.

Beebus is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Given is looking to control Beebus's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Given avoid being mounted?

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Beebus throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Beebus thows a huge punch but Given dodges it nicely.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Beebus tries to advance to mount but can't.

Beebus goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Given has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Beebus but great work by Given.
Beebus tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Given wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Beebus is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Given feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Beebus's calf.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Beebus shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Beebus showed some decent athleticism there.
Beebus stops Given from getting back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Beebus feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Beebus postures up in Given's guard and throws a big left but Given blocks it.
Given utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Beebus is in close to Given's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Given is breathing heavily.
Beebus loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Beebus looking to sit in guard and control but Given gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Beebus wants to hit a switch here but Given passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Beebus there!

Beebus closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Beebus is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Given has momentary wrist control but Beebus slips an elbow through the middle.

Beebus has gone for a leg lock! Given slips out almost immediately though and dives into Beebus's guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Beebus, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
