Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Lucas Fabiski!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hudson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fabiski manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Fabiski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hudson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Hudson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Fabiski has hold of Hudson's hands but Hudson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hudson connects with a nice short shot to Fabiski's temple.
Fabiski is trying to control but can't.
Fabiski is looking to improve his position.
Hudson is looking to take a break and control but Fabiski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hudson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fabiski's head.

Hudson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fabiski with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Hudson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Hudson lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Fabiski quite badly. Fabiski pulls Hudson in close trying to recover. Hudson postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Fabiski on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Fabiski doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Saul Hudson!
