The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aerts looks to land a body kick but Kent moved away.
Aerts tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kent lands a nice shot that snaps Aerts's head back.
Aerts tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kent paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kent throws a leg kick but Aerts checks it.
Aerts is looking to land body kicks.

Aerts has managed to clinch.
Aerts throws a punch but it's blocked by Kent.
Kent works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Kent prevents a body shot from Aerts.
Aerts has a couple of punches blocked by Kent.

Kent pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Aerts swinging wildly here.
Aerts tries to close the distance and clinch but Kent swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Aerts throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
A low kick from Aerts is predictable there
enabling Kent to counter with a crisp jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Aerts misses with a shot to the body
and Kent counters with a nice body kick.
Aerts is breathing heavily.
Aerts clinches but Kent breaks the clinch
and Kent counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kent throws a left and a right that both miss
and Aerts counters with a good low kick that Kent was not able to check.
Aerts scores with a punch to the head.

Aerts looks to land a left hand but Kent moved out of range nicely.
Kent connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Aerts looks to throw a body kick
and Kent counters with a straight right hand.
Kent throws a series of punches but Aerts avoids them all with ease.

Kent gets the takedown into side control.
Kent working the ground and pound but Aerts is defending the strikes.
Kent lands a strong strike to the head of Aerts. That's dazed him! Kent looking to finish here. Aerts is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Kent lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
