Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pierre Tremblay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ogun Zepkirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zepkirk has chosen Andreas Tilliander - Back to the USA as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Pierre Tremblay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ogun Zepkirk!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zepkirk misses with a hook.

Zepkirk throws a body kick that misses.
A lazy left from Zepkirk finds it's target.


It looks like Pierre Tremblay has been cut.
A swing and a miss from Zepkirk.
Zepkirk cracks the inside of Tremblay's front leg.
Tremblay misses with a looping right.
Tremblay shoots in for a takedown but Zepkirk shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Zepkirk changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ogun Zepkirk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zepkirk throws a shot from downtown. Tremblay moves away and avoids it.
Tremblay tries to bum rush Zepkirk with a series of wild strikes but Zepkirk uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Tremblay closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Zepkirk holds on to Tremblay's head and controls the position momentarily.
Zepkirk tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Tremblay cracks Zepkirk with a big elbow.
Zepkirk looks to move to half guard but instead Tremblay has passed into mount! Damn!

Zepkirk wants to hold on but Tremblay pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zepkirk is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Tremblay is staying active.
Tremblay wants to control the pace but Zepkirk is squirming around nicely.
Zepkirk is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Zepkirk is working to get back to half guard.
The referee warns Zepkirk that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Tremblay fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Tremblay wants to control the pace but Zepkirk is squirming around nicely.
Zepkirk is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tremblay sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Zepkirk can't escape the position.

Zepkirk is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Tremblay postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Zepkirk looks a forlorn figure.

Tremblay has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zepkirk is in all sorts of trouble here.
Zepkirk takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Tremblay cracks Zepkirk with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Tremblay wants to control the pace but Zepkirk is squirming around nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Zepkirk leaves Tremblay with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Zepkirk scores with a hook.
Zepkirk moves out of range as Tremblay throws a body kick.
Good work by Tremblay as he checks the leg kick.
Tremblay misses with a hook.
Zepkirk throws a right and a left that both miss.
The fighters circling - Tremblay throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Zepkirk throws a low kick but Tremblay moves out of range easily.
Tremblay moves away from the strike by Zepkirk.
Tremblay fails to land with a series of punches.
Zepkirk misses with a looping left.
Zepkirk throws a lazy right hand but Tremblay sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Tremblay jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Zepkirk throws a shot from downtown. Tremblay moves away and avoids it.

Zepkirk closes the distance and pushes Tremblay back into the cage.
Tremblay looking for a takedown.

Zepkirk escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tremblay walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Zepkirk misses with a looping right.

Tremblay moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Zepkirk misses with the combination.
Tremblay swinging wildly here.
Zepkirk connects with a superb combination that knocks Tremblay out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Zepkirk before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Tremblay!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ogun Zepkirk!
