These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zambidis buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Zambidis bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Zambidis keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Zambidis lands a head kick that stumbles Pitbull and the fighters go to the mat.

Pitbull is rocked!

It looks like MotherFucker Pitbull has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zambidis pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pitbull is keeping the position for now.
Zambidis is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Pitbull keeping moving, preventing Zambidis from controlling successfully.
Pitbull really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zambidis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Zambidis won't allow Pitbull to get back to his feet.
Zambidis advances position into side control!
Zambidis trying to control the action but Pitbull is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Pitbull's face as Zambidis controls the position.

Zambidis works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Pitbull is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Pitbull looks gassed!
A lull in the action here.
Zambidis trying to control the position but Pitbull is working away.
Pitbull seems a little lost for a moment, as Zambidis dominates the positioning.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mike Zambidis.

Zambidis connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Pitbull to the floor! Zambidis dives in looking for the finish!
Pitbull is still in real trouble! Can Zambidis finish him?

Zambidis is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Pitbull is hurt! He's hurt bad - Zambidis fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Pitbull from any more punishment! Congratulations to Zambidis! Great finish!
