Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Makoto Ohe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ohe comes to the cage accompanied by ClawFinger - Do what I say. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Makoto Ohe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tito Ortiz!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Sergei Dronov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz tries to clinch there but Ohe circles away.
Ortiz fails with a takedown attempt.
Ortiz shoots in and drives through. Ohe sprawls well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ortiz has a takedown stuffed.
Makoto Ohe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tito Ortiz.

Ortiz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A right-left combo lands from Ohe.

Ortiz moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Ortiz shoots in for a takedown but Ohe shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tito Ortiz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ortiz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ohe tries to avoid it but Ortiz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ohe to the ground. Ohe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ortiz dives in and grabs Ohe's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ohe pushes down on Ortiz's head and hops out.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ohe keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ohe lands a front kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Ortiz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ohe keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Ortiz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ortiz shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ohe pinned against the cage. Ohe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Ortiz misses with an uppercut. Ohe saw that one coming.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

No joy there for Ortiz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Ohe stuffs the takedown attempt from Ortiz. Ortiz gets slowly back to his feet.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Ohe jabs Ortiz right on the nose. Ortiz blinks but takes it well.
Ohe throws the kick towards the body but Ortiz avoids it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Ortiz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ohe as he avoids it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!


Ohe misses with a body kick.
Nice sprawl there from Ohe as Ortiz shoots in.
Ohe uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ohe stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ohe wants it to stay on the feet.

Ohe throws a sloppy head kick and Ortiz moves out of range easily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ortiz plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Ohe scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Ortiz shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ohe but Ohe pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ortiz shoots in and drives through. Ohe sprawls well.

Ortiz misses with a combination
and Ohe counters with a left to the body.
Ortiz takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ortiz shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ohe defends it nicely.
Ortiz uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ohe.

And that's the end of the fight!
Makoto Ohe showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Ohe has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
