Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maukka Peusjaetkae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randy Rage has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Randy Rage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Maukka Peusjaetkae!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rage gets caught flat footed, as Peusjaetkae shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Peusjaetkae wants to control from the top but Rage keeps moving.
Rage looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Rage is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Rage manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Peusjaetkae manages to get himself to full guard.
Rage advances position into side control!
Peusjaetkae regains half guard, as Rage was trying to land strikes.
Peusjaetkae tries to roll over but Rage keeps him under control.
Rage tries to pass the half guard into mount. Peusjaetkae knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Peusjaetkae has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rage is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Rage is trying to control the action in half guard but Peusjaetkae is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Peusjaetkae wants to control but Rage is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Rage tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rage fails to land with a series of punches.

Peusjaetkae looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Rage bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Peusjaetkae's guard.

Peusjaetkae is working an open guard so Rage takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Rage gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Peusjaetkae counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rage's guard now.
Rage is breathing heavily.
Peusjaetkae wanted to stand there but Rage had control of the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rage bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Peusjaetkae's guard.
Rage throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Peusjaetkae works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Maukka Peusjaetkae dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Rage takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Rage is pulling down on Peusjaetkae's head. It's preventing any offense from Peusjaetkae, at least for the moment.

Rage closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Peusjaetkae throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rage's waist but Rage gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Peusjaetkae off to one side.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Rage shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Peusjaetkae but Peusjaetkae pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Peusjaetkae throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

so Rage counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

That was a close second round but I would say that Randy Rage will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Horrible takedown by Rage or perhaps it was just good defense by Peusjaetkae which made him look bad.
