Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tom Lloyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Kamikaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lloyd comes to the cage accompanied by The Hives - Tick Tick Boom. Tom Lloyd has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamikaze throws a head kick that half lands.
Kamikaze shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lloyd.
Kamikaze on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lloyd. Lloyd obviously looking to wear him down.
Kamikaze misses with a head kick.

Lloyd stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kamikaze.

Lloyd is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kamikaze accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Lloyd drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lloyd jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Kamikaze throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Kamikaze closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lloyd did well to prevent Kamikaze getting side control.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Kamikaze takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Lloyd throws out a loose jab but Kamikaze uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lloyd looks to land a body kick but Kamikaze moved away.
Kamikaze tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Good leg kick by Lloyd there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Kamikaze drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Lloyd's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Lloyd is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kamikaze's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Kamikaze really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lloyd. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kamikaze is sitting in close to Lloyd's body. Lloyd has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Kamikaze is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Kamikaze is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Lloyd.
