The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lilburn throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Wolf throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lilburn was covering up waiting for the punch and Wolf finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Wolf drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lilburn looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lilburn looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lilburn!

Wolf is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Wolf is landing with some decent strikes but Lilburn is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Wolf has control of Lilburn's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lilburn regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Wolf postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lilburn looks a forlorn figure.
The referee warns Lilburn that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Tyson Wolf showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
