The Fury comes to the cage accompanied by Eminem - White America. Gatto has chosen He's a pirate as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Mick Gatto enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Julian The Fury!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mick Gatto!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Daniel Cesar and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Fury wants to clinch.
Gatto fails with the takedown.
The Fury doesn't manage to clinch there - Gatto circles away.
The Fury tries for a takedown but Gatto circles away easily
and Gatto cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gatto lands a jab to The Fury's midsection.
Gatto moves out of range as The Fury throws a body kick.
Gatto shoots in for a takedown but The Fury shows good takedown defense.

Gatto lands a left and a right that send The Fury crashing to the mat, dazed. Gatto thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
The Fury wants to clinch

and Gatto counters with a crisp right hand that drops The Fury! Gatto lets The Fury back up to his feet, looking for a finish!


The Fury is rocked!
A combination from Gatto does no damage.
Gatto on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Gatto misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A big left from The Fury misses.
Julian The Fury seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Fury displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gatto.
Julian The Fury has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mick Gatto.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gatto throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gatto scores with a three punch combo!
Gatto misses with the combination.
The Fury looks to clinch
and Gatto counters with a series of strikes. The Fury will be more careful next time no doubt.
Oh The Fury is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The Fury waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gatto.
The Fury seems to have got his legs back now.
The Fury shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gatto defends it nicely.
The Fury is breathing heavily.
Gatto misses with a series of wild punches.
Gatto misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gatto blocks a head kick by The Fury.
Gatto throws a series of strikes that have The Fury backpedaling.
The Fury tries to clinch but Gatto is having none of it.
The Fury tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gatto swats him away and circles back towards the center.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gatto displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from The Fury.
Gatto scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gatto stalks The Fury and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into The Fury's face. The Fury staggers backwards, shaken.
The Fury shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gatto defends it nicely.
The Fury showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gatto.
Gatto is working the combinations to good effect here.
Gatto defending well as The Fury loads up on a big left hand.
Gatto fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but The Fury avoids it really well and circles away.
The Fury will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gatto changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Gatto misses with a few strikes there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mick Gatto dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Nice uppercut there from Gatto.
The Fury clobbers Gatto with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The Fury tries to clinch but Gatto moves away

and Gatto counters with a crisp one two that drops The Fury! Gatto thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves The Fury to his feet! The Fury is in big trouble!
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether The Fury might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Gatto has cracked The Fury with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Gatto lands another huge swinging hook and The Fury tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save The Fury, before Gatto can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mick Gatto!
