Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Noah Cd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Abbot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Abbot has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noah Cd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Abbot!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cd throws a right and a left that Abbot avoids nicely.
Cd feints and then cracks Abbot's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Abbot down.

Cd takes the fight into the clinch.

Cd breaks from the clinch.
Abbot moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Abbot throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Abbot listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
A combination from Abbot does no damage.
Abbot throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cd.
Abbot misses with a hook. Cd ducked under it nicely.
Abbot has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Cd.
Cd lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A swing and a miss from Cd.
Cd pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Abbot crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cd - the referee stops the clock and Abbot gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cd. Abbot manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Good leg kick by Cd there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Cd turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Frank Abbot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Cd counters with a good, hard body kick but Abbot shrugs it off.

Abbot wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Cd digs a right hand underneath Abbot's ribcage. Abbot let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Cd with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Cd lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Abbot backwards.
Cd has Abbot pressed against the cage, preventing Abbot from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Cd breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cd takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cd lets loose with a powerful body kick. Abbot will feel that in the morning.

Cd prevents Abbot from breaking the clinch.

Abbot has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
