Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Greek Gyros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bigg Hugg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gyros kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Greek Gyros. Bigg Hugg will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hugg tries to clinch up but Gyros circles away and keeps his distance.
Hugg wants to clinch up but Gyros keeps it at a distance.

Gyros tries to keep at a distance but Hugg has taken the fight into the clinch.
Hugg tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hugg tries to land knees in the clinch but Gyros avoids the damage to the body.

It looks like Bigg Hugg has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hugg is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Hugg takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Hugg pushes Gyros away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gyros gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Gyros decides to stand back up.
Gyros changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hugg tries to avoid it but Gyros manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hugg to the ground. Hugg escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gyros feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hugg moves in looking to clinch but Gyros pushes him off.
Gyros will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Hugg wants to get back to his feet but Gyros is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Nice takedown defense from Hugg. No joy for Gyros on that attempt.
