Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Backman stuffs the takedown.
Scofield looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Scofield takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Scofield.
Ben Backman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Scofield.
Backman scores with a crisp jab that stopped Scofield in his tracks.
Backman lands a jab to the nose.
Scofield shoots in but Backman avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Backman's corner calls for a 1-2. Backman obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Scofield tries to keep at a distance but Backman has taken the fight into the clinch.
Scofield goes for a takedown in the clinch but Backman prevents it.

Scofield is trying to drag Backman to the mat but Backman just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Backman lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Backman swings away with an uppercut that misses.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Backman creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Michael Scofield has been cut.

Backman dips a shoulder and cracks Scofield with a mighty uppercut! Scofield falls back against the cage and Backman unloads with a barrage of strikes! Scofield is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Backman screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
