The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mcleod checks a leg kick.
Sotiar throws a sloppy head kick and Mcleod moves out of range easily.
Mcleod scores with a hook to the body. Sotiar takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Mcleod feints and as Sotiar raises his hands in defense, Mcleod changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sotiar tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Sotiar bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mcleod's guard.
Sotiar slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Sotiar throws a solid leg kick but Mcleod takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Sotiar.
